Many years ago, during a trip to Oceania, we arrived at Taveuni – Fiji Island. The Fiji Islands have been a great discovery for us. By traveling alone we were able to discover solitary and uncontaminated places of indescribable beauty. The stretch of coast in the photo is on the enchanting island of Taveuni which, at the time of our adventure, was still really off the tourist routes.
We walked on deserted streets and bathed on enchanted beaches like this in total solitude. On the island, however, we remember first of all the smile and welcome of people met on the street and in the villages. The atmosphere of Taveuni has really bewitched us and for us it is still one of the most beautiful places ever visited.
