It is about 8 km long and 2 wide wide and can easily be crossed on foot.

The Blue Hole is right in front of the island, a one hour ride on a speedboat

From Guatemala to Belize – by land – it takes about 8 hours. The buses usually stop at the port in Belize City from which you can catch a water taxi from various companies that go back and forth to the island. The crossing from the coast to the island is not very long, about 1 hour of navigation to Caye Caulker, La Isla Carinosa, 1 hour and 30 to San Pedro, La Isla Bonita!
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_map address=”Caye Caulker, Belize” zoom_level=”9″ address_lat=”17.745530772293″ address_lng=”-87.916418335394″ _builder_version=”3.0.95″ box_shadow_style=”preset2″][et_pb_map_pin title=”Guajira Peninsula” pin_address=”Caye Caulker, Belize” pin_address_lat=”17.7611578″ pin_address_lng=”-88.0277487″ _builder_version=”3.0.95″][/et_pb_map_pin][/et_pb_map][et_pb_image src=”https://1538408992.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Caye-Caulker_14.jpg” alt=”Caye Caulker Blue Hole” title_text=”Caye Caulker Blue Hole” url=”https://www.aguaplano.org/en/pictures-of-colombia/” url_new_window=”on” align=”center” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”3.23″ border_width_all=”4px” border_color_all=”#e09900″ border_style_all=”solid” use_border_color=”on” border_color=”#e09900″ border_width=”6px”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_divider show_divider=”off” _builder_version=”3.2″ max_width=”68%” module_alignment=”center”][/et_pb_divider][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_blurb title=”Places not to be missed” use_icon=”on” font_icon=”%%52%%” icon_color=”#5aa597″ use_circle=”on” circle_color=”#ffffff” icon_placement=”left” content_max_width=”318px” _builder_version=”3.0.83″ body_font=”||||||||” body_font_size=”13px” background_color=”#E89339″ custom_padding=”10px|10px|10px|10px” box_shadow_style=”preset4″]

Caye Caulker Village

Snorkelling spots around island

The Great Blue Hole Belize

[/et_pb_blurb][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://1538408992.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Caye-Caulker_Great_Blue_Hole.jpg” alt=”Caye Caulker Blue Hole” title_text=”Caye Caulker Blue Hole” url=”https://www.aguaplano.org/en/pictures-of-colombia/” url_new_window=”on” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”3.23″ max_width=”91%” border_width_all=”4px” border_color_all=”#e09900″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_divider show_divider=”off” _builder_version=”3.2″ max_width=”68%” module_alignment=”center”][/et_pb_divider][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″]

Things to See

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″]The island of Caye Caulker is a magical place that offers, even in its minuscule size, many things to see and experience.
