Before leaving on holiday or business register on www.dovesiamonelmondo.it, indicating your personal data, travel itinerary and mobile phone number. All data will be automatically cancelled two days after your date of re-entry and will only be used in case of emergency to facilitate the international of the foreign ministry Crisis Unit.
If you don’t want to register on-line you can also send a text message (SMS) from your mobile phone saying —“ ? “ or “AIUTO” (help) —to the cell number 320 2043424 or by phoning 001-2219018 and following the recorded instructions.

The site www.viaggiaresicuri.it was created by the foreign ministry’s Crisis Unit in collaboration with the Italian automobile club (ACI) and supplies up-to-date information on the current situation in all the countries of the world, including special advisories on security, weather phenomena, epidemics, etc.
All advisories are subject to variations on short notice.
Insurance: un’assicurazione studiata appositamente per i backpackers .Basso costo di sottoscrizione e copertura mondiale con massimali adeguati e assistenza per spese mediche, furti ecc. Parte del premio viene devoluta per progetti di collaborazione e sviluppo nei paesi del terzo e quarto mondo.
Safety: con una semplice registrazione sul sito si può accedere ad un database aggiornato in tempo reale sulla situazione del paese cercato, i pericoli, gli eventi naturali. Un ottimo strumento.
